Microsoft Teams for Business Users (Second Edition)
Course Objectives:
- Communicate with colleagues in Teams.
- Call and meet with people in Teams.
- Lead a meeting.
- Configure your Teams environment.
- Share files and app content.
- Create and configure Teams.
This course requires a Microsoft 365 organization with licenses for students. While various plans are available, this course was developed using Microsoft 365 Business Standard. Note: It might take 24 hours for Microsoft 365 accounts to be active.
- Microsoft Windows 11
- Microsoft 365 licenses (Microsoft 365 Business Standard is recommended)
- Microsoft Teams (work or school) desktop app
- If necessary, software for viewing the course slides. (Instructor machine only.)
For this course, you will need one computer for each student and one for the instructor. Each computer will need the following minimum hardware configurations:
- Sufficient processor speed, RAM, and storage space for good system performance when running Windows 11 and Microsoft Teams.
- Mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
- High-speed, stable Internet connection.
- For the instructor's computer, a method to project and/or share the screen as needed for local and remote class participants.
- A web camera and headset are encouraged, but optional.
