Jenkins is a scalable and highly efficient open source automation server that runs an unparalleled plugin ecosystem. It is written in Java and uses plugins designed for continuous integration purpose.

This is a 2-day course which balances theory and hand-on applications that are focused on practical takeaways. This course will provide you with a comprehensive introduction to installation and management on Jenkins functions and its plugins. The course addresses the setup of freestyle, upstream or downstream projects using Jenkins. Lastly, you will be able to implement multi-branch pipeline and projects to run on build slaves.

This course complies with instructional designing principles for all the 6 lessons. This will ensure that you repeat and reinforce your gained knowledge at every step. Each and every minute spent during this 2-day course will incrementally take you to a next level.

Target Student:
This course is for course aimed at new developers and operations personnel looking to setup Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines specifically with Jenkins. You should have basic programming experience and working knowledge of test driven development, using the bash command line interface, managing virtual machines with tools like Vagrant and Virtualbox and basic knowledge of Docker images and containers.
